Abstract
Based on the systematics of the well-known closed circuit mobile transmissions, a new hydrostatic transmission system, to be applied in power hydraulics, is introduced. In this system, analogous to the electrical energy transfer, as many consumers as wished can be connected to a central supply system (ring system). These consumers are also able to re-supply energy into the system (generator-brake operation). The subjects of discussion are the control and regulating systematics as well as the degree of efficiency to be expected when making use of hydrostatic energy accumulation.
